The Framework
The Life Framework is a living architecture of interrelated models that help us see how coherence emerges—within ourselves, our relationships, and the systems we inhabit.

The Framework illuminates how life moves -- how awareness meets complexity, how systems evolve or collapse, and how presence becomes the ground for meaningful action. Each model, examples shown below in a distilled version for ease of understanding, offers a distinct yet connected view, moving from the deep dynamics of being and knowing to embodied presence and the unfolding of coherence across real-world systems.

The Framework as shown here exhibit models of coherence across five layers of life:
Ontological — How life exists and organizes itself (The Life Model).
Relational — How we experience presence through movement, relationship, and awareness (Modes of Presence).
Perceptual — How awareness gives rise to meaning and orientation (The Living Compass).
Systemic — How coherence and incoherence ripple through feedback loops in human and natural systems (The Ecology of Coherence).
Applied — How these insights come alive through practice, leadership, and daily choice.
Together, these frameworks offer a map for understanding how life sustains balance — and how we can participate more coherently within it.
Foundations of Coherence
Coherence begins with the nature of life itself; how existence and awareness interweave to create the ground of presence. These first models reveal how life moves through movement and relationship, and how awareness expresses through being and understanding.
The Life Model

Reveals the essential interplay that defines life, between Existence and Awareness—how movement and relationship meet being and understanding. This forms the energetic architecture of coherence itself.
Modes of Presence

Translates the Life Model into lived experience, showing how awareness expresses itself through four Modes of Presence. They represent the movement of coherence through perception and participation, bridging the inner and outer worlds.
The Living Compass
The Living Compass translates these foundations into lived experience, showing how coherence moves through the layers of our being and relationships. It invites us to sense coherence as something lived — beginning within, flowing outward through movement and relationship, guided by the orientations of Truth, Connection, Freedom, and Adventure.
The Living Compass (2D)

Orients presence toward coherence through Truth, Connection, Freedom, Adventure. The Compass offers guidance to develop awareness and capacities for navigating real-world complexity.
The Living Compass (3D)

Extends the Compass into a full dimensional field, showing that awareness flows between Being and Understanding, and coherence expands from capacities, through movement and relationship.
Integrated and Systems View
Coherence extends beyond the individual to communities, cultures, and ecosystems. These closing models explore how the same principles that sustain presence within us also shape the resilience and evolution of our collective systems.
The Integrated Compass

Integrates the Modes of Presence into The Living Compass. This reveals coherence as a continuous circulation through movement, relationship, and awareness.
The Ecology of Coherence

Frames how coherence and incoherence ripple outward through action and feedback at both individual and collective levels. Reflexive awareness shapes the quality of our beliefs, narratives, and actions—determining whether we amplify coherence or deepen dissonance.
